Musical Entertainment
The repertoire ranges across all musical genres, embracing a total of over three hundred years of music. The programmes are prepared on the basis of the context in which the band is called to perform.
Generally speaking, a usual programme will include marches, classical pieces, themes from film soundtracks, original compositions for bands, jazz, pop music, pop, rock.
The choice is dictated by the need to pleasantly entertain the largest possible range of listeners.
The artistic director will assess, time by time, the most appropriate type programme and band make-up. (Concert Band, Ensemble, Street Band, Jazz Band) based on the circumstances.
