During its long career, the Celtic Group has held over one thousand concerts in Italy and in Europe and they are the only Italian group – and one of the very few in the world – that regularly performs in Ireland (three tours, solo performances by the individual musicians, their concert recorded by the Irish television). Just in recent years, the band accompanied the famous piper Liam O’Flynn, the violin/guitar duo of Martin Hayes and Dennis Cahill, the famous singer Niamh Parsons, the guitarist Graham Dunne, the accordionists Murty Ryan and Derek Hickey and the singer and bouzoukist Cyril O’Donoghue on their respective tours in Italy; all musicians of absolute world-wide worth and renown, who have aroused great interest and claimed considerable public success in Italy as well.
The group has participated live in radio and television programmes for RAI 1, RAI 3, RAI Radio 1, RAI Radio 2, TELE + 3, TMC Telemontecarlo, RTS Switzerland, Telepiù, Radio Capodistria, Radio Popolare di Milano (Italian national and local television and radio), and in Ireland for RTE (the Irish national radio), Radio Kerry and Radio Clare. Their music has been aired on various occasions by radio stations in Germany, France, Norway, Italy, Ireland, Australia, the United States, Russia, the Vatican State and Switzerland. The band has recorded three albums - - Continental Reel (1996), A Cheap Present (1999), 3(three) (2003) – and tens of compilations. The albums have received flattering reviews and important recognition from the specialised European and America press. They have performed twice in honour of the Irish Minister of Agriculture, on occasion of official visits to Italy.
