
David D'Alesio is an italian clarinettist. Born in Livorno in 1966, 1966 this clarinetist earned his degree at the "P. Mascagni" Music School in Livorno in 1988. Since 1983 he has played in various Orchestras, performing in numerous music (lyric) seasons all across Italy. He plays as first clarinetist in the "Amedeo Modigliani" Orchestra in Livorno and in the Symphonic Orchestra in the theaters of Massa and Carrara as well as playing as added instrumentalist with many Italian Orchestras, among which the Orchestra of the Teatro Comunale in Bologna, the Città Lirica Orchestra in the theaters of Livorno, Pisa and Lucca, and the Orchestra Camerata Musicale (both as a clarinetist as well as a saxophone player) the orchestra of the International Festival in San Gimignano.
Since 1989 he has worked as an instrumentalist and teacher with the music classes at the High School in the American army base, Camp Darby, receiving a "Certificate of Appreciation". He plays also chamber music in trio, quartet or quintet. Is clarinet and sax teacher at Istituzione Scuola Comunale di Musica "Clara Schumann" in Collesalvetti, near Livorno. He is also Orchestra and Band conductor.
