FERRARI 512 Bbi-First injection model ever produced

According to what is written by the experts of the historical Italian Automotoclub, the 512BBi shown in the picture above is "a car completely original including all of the parts. The chassis on the car is well preserved including the mechanics and the interior is in good condition. This CAR IS A UNIQUE piece used as a laboratory by the experience division of Ferrari to deliberate after the serial production".

In essence, the vehicle above is the first injection B512 ever built by Ferrari.

The car is equipped with 34775 chassis instead of the classical Boxer carburetor. After a long period of elaborations, static and road tests, decision makers decided to present the car to the sales network. You can find a photograph of the car on page 157 of the book "Ferrari and Pinifarina". In a study done for Quattrorute (issue 13, November 1981), Carlos Reutmann gave the vehicle high remarks.

The delivery time for a vehicle approximated to a yearlong wait. The extraordinary qualities of this model, the innovative technique and style, and the laudable artistry melted together creating a masterpiece of tradition and research. The body and mechanics are practically hand made and checked with accuracy in the new finishing division (equipment unique in its kind). Enthusiasts have defined this vehicle in a number of ways: "The last Gran Turismo"; "A street Formula One"; "A unique piece for the craziest and richest enthusiast". The number plate (i.e., MO 846512) also defines the uniqueness of the vehicle.
