It was 1985 when Gabriele Tarchiani decided to transfer his skills as a restaurateur in the city center this veranda 40s Bellariva located in the district, an inch from the banks of the Arno. Today, after many years here that still exudes the style of the "West Coast" American wood, continuous evolution of the green light "play" make the TARGA Bistrot a unique stage with a romantic and casual. Overnight stay for a few hours means pleasant to watch games and reality mirrors between the windows and the observation deck, but also being part of a smoothly refined cuisine, executed, or perhaps born to coexist in harmony with the environment itself. It's not a pun, but that's because Tarchiani Gabriel comes from a family of cabinetmakers restorers (his father was also an acclaimed teacher of graphic arts besides restorer of old books) and has developed a personal, impassioned call for hospitality and the 'haute cuisine. Gabriel himself, as his father's footsteps, after interrupting his studies of architecture, has for nine years, the cabinet maker, devoting himself to the restoration of the ancient wooden artefacts. It is from this work (as he hopes) that comes his acute sensitivity to color values and texture of the material that will be instrumental in its commitment to a gastronome and restaurateur, a commitment that, in offering refreshments, sees a mission besides a profession.
