The Cacciucco is a typical fish stew of the Livorno cuisine, but Luciano personalized it and slightly changed the traditional recipe by preparing the dish only with fish of the season and according to the fish available on the day: different varieties of fish (scorpion fish, angler, gurnard, cuttlefish…) are added to a light base of fresh tomato and a pinch of chilli.
Luciano’s flavoursome fish dishes are accompanied by wines coming from his well-stocked cellar, which shows the competence of the proprietor also in this field.
Special care is also given to the preparation of desserts, a worthy conclusion of a mouth-watering meal. Desserts are prepared with selected ingredients: the millefeuille of custard and caramel, a typical dessert of the restaurant, or the semifreddo with crisp pistachio, a recent creation of Luciano.
