A short corridor opens into a large formal dining room with 18th century frescoes and a sumptuous Murano chandelier over an ancient table. The walls are lined with elegant glass cabinets and an antique terracotta stove. Off the dining room is the "Cardinal Bedroom", a double room resplendent in red brocade, beautiful antiques and paintings. The "Empire" bedroom, with its Napoleonic crowned bed, has an adjacent sitting room. From the library, a wide spiral staircase leads up to a large twin bedroom . The staircase also leads down to the ground floor which is for entertaining. Here are a billiard room, a formal foyer, and a drawing room whose floral frescoes echo the furnished garden outside.
A formal salone with 1930s' frescoes, golden Sienese marble pilasters, grand piano, table and chairs could be a special place for evening dining.
