Regency has the pleasure to show here a series of objects in fancy paper and marble papers and leather ones, in addition to a series of packages of letter paper and cards, all products coming from an ancient and famous Shop of Art established in Florence in 1856. The Photo Album and the precious cat-shaped place cards are made with papers by hand, with the artisan "soaking", technique that was started in Italy in around 1600 and that from time to time, in the following centuries, was recovered by craftsmen and artists. The cards and the letter papers decorated by using the xylography technique reproduce regional or ancient drawings of 1600-1700 and are the result of original studies on the Italian popular art personally carried out by this family of artisans or committed by them to experts studying this topic.
