This duo was formed in 1999, coming together from diverging musical
backgrounds. They alternate original works with edited ones drawing from
a vast spectrum of environments and cultures. Fusing elements and
characteristics which belong to various musical worlds the come up with
a personal and modern sound.
This duo moves from the American language of the Blues and Jazz ("The
man I love") to Neapolitan songs ("Tu si 'na cosa grande", "Reginella"),
to Celtic melodies and classic themes ("Greensleeves", "Adagio di
Albinoni"), from the Argentinean tango to flamenco ("Vuelvo al Sur" by
Piazzolla, "Zyryab" by De Lucia), from vocal ("La vie en rose", "The way
we were") to instrumental pieces by A. Corsi and original compositions
by L.Burgalassi.
The duo works together with Armando Corsi, a guitarist from Genoa who
helped to prepare the repertoire, work on arrangements and record the
promotional demo, on which the percussionist, Gianni Branca also
participated.
