OBOE

Classical music for events and weddings in Italy.

Born in Livorno this oboist studied at the "P. Mascagni" music school under the guidance of Guido Tagliabue (first oboe in the orchestra of the Maggio Musicale Fiorentino). He graduated with highest marks. For two years he worked with the orchestra of the "Massimo" Theater in Palermo; after which he took perfectionist classes in 'professional qualification for orchestra' at the renowned Scuola di Musica di Fiesole. Upon completing the classes he went on tour as first oboe with the Italian Youth Orchestra, performing in some of the most important Italian musical institutions (the Arena in Verona, Accademia Santa Cecilia, Sermoneta Festival, Accademia Chigiana). In Verona he met the Maestro Daniel Oren, who invited him to play for a series of concerts with the Orchestra of the San Carlo Theater in Naples.

He has worked as first oboist together with the Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, the Turin Philharmonic, the Tuscan Regional Orchestra, and the Chamber Orchestra of Bologna, among others. He has played chamber music across Italy, in Rome in the presence of the Pope John Paul II and abroad (in Paris for two years at the Soirée Musicales d'Eté). He recently recorded a CD for the Bongiovanni recording label with the Woodwind Octet from Parma and the bass, Michele Pertusi. At the moment he is first oboe in the "Città Lirica" Orchestra, performing lyric and symphony works for theaters in Pisa, Livorno and Lucca.
