Born in Leghorn in 1976.
He began playing at the age of 8. A student of Fabrizio di Salvo and Giovanni Unterberger, in 1998 he graduated from the Centro Studi Lizard in Fiesole in Acoustic Guitar, having taken courses in "musical composition and arrangements" and "History of Rock music".
He has participated in various professional workshops and seminars: A seminar on Ensemble music with Franco D'Andrea in 1991, a seminar on fusion guitar with Franco Mussida in 1992 and a professional workshop on electric guitar with Andrea Braido in the Accademia Musicale Lizard in Grosseto. "Summer seminar on acoustic guitar (fingerpicking, flatpicking, open and alternate tunings)" directed by Franco Morone in 1998. He plays in the "Festival Europeo per giovani musicisti" in Budapest in 1995 and he performed in 1996 in the theatre in Sin Le Noble in France.
He founded the "East and West" with which he recorded 3 CDs, "West Coast" - "Tales from the Cat Stevens Songbook" - "East and West". He performs with this group across Italy. He played mandolin in the "Orchestra del Festival di San Gimignano" in Mahler’s "Das Lied von Der Erde". In 19999, with the artistic collaboration of Armando Corsi, with whom he studies Modern Harmony and Improvisation Techniques, he produces the duo "Pienaluna" and records a promotional demo with the percussionist Gianni Branca. He is currently playing in various projects: in the orchestra of the rock opera "Burattino senza fili" with which he has accompanies Massimo Altomare, Barbara Casini and Lucia Cappelli. In the Baglioniana (a jazz cover of songs by Claudio Baglioni), in the Valentin Gerlier Quintet (Gypsy jazz, Brazilian and Cuban music) and in the Der Mund (original and standard songs in arrangements for acoustic guitar, piano, voice and percussion instruments). He has taught electric guitar in the Roland music school in Leghorn and in the Scuola Comunale in Marina di Pisa, acoustic guitar and rock-blues electric guitar in the Accademia Musicale Lizard in Grosseto and in the Istituzione Comunale per la Cultura “Clara Schumann” in Collesalvetti (province of Leghorn).
